Outfit Of The Day: Neutral Autumn

Oh hey! So, I think this is one of my favourite looks that I've done for a while.

I decided to keep to very neutral colours to match the Autumn colours that I'm seeing around at the minute. It's pretty sad that summer is over but at least I can buy some new clothes.

I think that stripes can be extremely flattering if they are worn properly. As I'm pretty small, wearing horizontal stripes creates an allusion of the body being wider. The t-shirt is a dark cream colour which gives it a real vintage feel. I bought my long-sleeved shirt last year at River Island in a sale for £15.

My jeans are a saggy fit to contrast the t-shirt which is much more fitted. I bought these jeans one size bigger to achieve this effect, you have to wear a good belt but it's worth it. To add some edge to the look I also wore my dice chain. I bought this after seeing Cher Lloyd wearing one in the Swagger Jagger video. I bought the chain from an independent online store but I'm seriously struggling to find it. I spent quite a bit of money on mine but looking today you can buy them very cheaply on eBay.

Lastly we come to the shoes, my latest purchase from TK Maxx. They are made by Levi and are pretty unusual which is what really drew me to them. The rope design soles are similar to my espadrilles but then the body is designed like a shoe. However you describe them, I love them! They work perfectly with this look because they keep in with the beige colouring of me tee. These cost £20 and are worth every penny.

I hope you enjoyed this look. Leave a comment!
