I Can't Afford Louis Vuitton, so I can't be interested in fashion?

Just because you can't afford to shop at Louis Vuitton or Gucci or any other designer store doesn't mean you can't have an interest in fashion. Likewise, just because you can afford to purchase designer clothes doesn't automatically a fashion guru.

The reason I'm writing this post is because of the increasing amount of fashion snobbery I see daily on the internet. So called 'fashion experts' bashing smaller bloggers because they talk about affordable fashion instead of top designer goods. Yes I know I'm a smaller blog and therefore I am slightly biased, but that's irrelevant and I still have a point.

I get so irritated by people that define fashion by the the price tag an item holds. Some of us don't have the luxury of being able to afford a $1000 bag or be able to wear a scarf that's worth more than an average month's wages. It shouldn't matter where you shop, as long as you feel confident in whatever you decide to wear.

If the price is the only thing that's important then what about people who shop in vintage stores? I bought a Levi jacket for £20 once, that's designer does that count? At one point it was probably worth 10 times what I paid for it.

People are too quick to judge another person based solely on the amount of money that they have, and it isn't fair.

Honestly, I'm not the most confident person in the world and don't have a lot of money to spend on clothing. But that doesn't mean that I don't care about what I wear or that I don't take pride in my appearance. If I had the money I would pitch a tent and live in Louis Vuitton!

The point I'm trying to make is that to judge someone based on how much they can afford is stupid. Just because some people have the opportunity to be able to afford high end designer clothes doesn't mean they're better or more fashionable than someone who doesn't have the opportunity.

On the flip side, not everyone who can afford the most expensive clothing is a judgmental and are exempt from my rant.

Have any of you guys felt this way? Let me know in the comments.

Miley Cyrus Strips For Marc Jacobs!

And she looks fab!

Miley Cyrus isn't shy about wearing revealing attire. This time she went one step further and took off all her clothing...for charity.

Miley is the latest celebrity to pose nude on a designer tee. Designed by Marc Jacobs, the t-shirts aim to raise money for skin cancer as well as raising awareness. Perfectly timed for the summer months!

So lets discuss the t-shirt. Miley uses both hands to cover her lower parts while some strategically placed text sorts out the rest. The image is quite shocking, perfect for this campaign.

I personally agree with Sugarscape, if this image doesn't get people talking about the benefits of wearing suncream...what will!

The 'Protect The Skin You're In' t-shirt campaign raises money for The NYU Cancer Institute and NYU Langone Medical Center.

Want one? They retail for only $35 at just nine Marc Jacobs boutiques in America, but will be available in Europe next month.

What do you guys think? Will you be getting one?

Hot or Not? Rihanna's See-Through Top

Well I think we can all agree that Rihanna certainly isn't shy anymore.

Rihanna's fans in Stockholm saw a lot more of  her than they were expecting as she left her hotel in a see-through top. The bra-less Rihanna grabbed everyone's attention as the fans could clearly see everything under her white mesh t-shirt. Well, if you've got it...and she most definitely has!

This story came to my attention on Twitter where fans were clearly confused with Rihanna's wardrobe choice. Many fan's thought she had merely forgot her bra where others were horrified when they realised it was a conscious decision.

This wardrobe choice really doesn't surprise me. Rihanna has dabbled with see-though clothes before, she's just showing more and more each time we see her. We all saw her video for S&M, we kinda knew what was coming next.

Good for you RiRi, I wish more people had your confidence!

Hot or Not: Rihanna's Tiger Print Jersey

So I was just browsing PerezHilton.com and I came across a post about Rihanna breaking down in concert. It was what she was wearing that grabbed my attention however.

While singing her hit single Stay, Rihanna was photographed wearing a tiger print hockey jersey.

I think by now we're all used to the pop star wearing all kinds of sporty attire. Don't get me wrong, I think it suits her really well. I'm just not sure about the bright yellow and black stripes.

RiRi sure does like her tiger print though. She was snapped last month in some striking tiger print shorts with another sport styled crop-top.

Well if anyone can pull off eye-popping prints, it's Rihanna

One Direction new music video 'Best Song Ever'

Well that was a lot to process...

It's finally here! Directioners can begin breathing again because the video for Best Song Ever is here at last.

After posting 6 teaser trailers on VEVO, One Direction finally revealed the brand new video to the world. Each of the boys embrace an alter ego as they discuss the new One Direction movie...with themselves. Weird? Keep reading.

The part that shocked me the most...how good Zayn looks as a girl! Although he was flirting with himself in the video, that was weird.

The video was good, the song was good, the dancing was terrible. But hey, we can't have everything.

Comic Con 2013: What The Celebs Wore!

Comic Con returned this year with more anticipation and excitement than ever!

The event was heald at Hilton Bayfront on Saturday afternoon (July 20) in San Diego and was packed full of celebrities. But what does a celeb wear to an event like this? Lets find out!

Below I've compiled a list of my favourite looks from Comic Con 2013. Lets start.

Hailee Steinfeld arrived in a Fall 2013 Kenzo dress to a press preview for Ender's Game. There is nothing I like about this dress. It's creepy in a bad way. Just No.

However, before she gets too upset, she did manage to redeem herself on the press line looking incredibly chic in a little black and white, sexy-secretary number. Much better Hailee!

Moving on to Elizabeth Olsen who was a San Diego to promote Godzilla. Her outfit was a pretty simple black and white pairing. From the images I've seen, the white top is a very boxy design which fails to show off her amazing figure. Regardless, she still looks amazing.

Shailene Woodley dressed to impress! I really loved what she put together for the Divergent press event. I'm feeling a lot of Taylor Swift's 22 video, but who cares she rocked it! Loving the hat Shailene.

Jennifer Lawrence arrived wearing simple a black and white outfit as she headed to the Catching Fire panel. Pairing a simple black and white striped cropped top and a plain white wrap-around skirt, Lawrence looked simply stunning.

Josh Hutcherson, also promoting the Hunger Games sequel, looked less impressive as he wore a more casual wardrobe. Arriving in; a checked shirt, plain grey tee, jeans and boots, the 20 year old didn't stand out from the crowd but it looked like he had a ton of fun being there.

Zoƫ Kravitz took notes from Josh Hutcherson and looked super casual. Black tshirt, jeans and pumps, but wait...

BOOM! Talk about a transformation! Wearing an edgy black jumpsuit with asymmetrical lines and finished with white heels for the red carpet. Love it.

Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke arrived in an eye-popping red dress with silver panels. The star turned heads in this amazing Christopher Kane Resort 2014 dress.

And the award for best dressed at Comic Con goes to...HALLE BERRY! She really showed everybody how to do it. When she wasn't sitting on the X-Men: Days of Future Past panel, Berry was proudly showing off her baby bump in a super-stunning dress. Berry wore a little black dress with a dove-grey sheer neckline, amazing.

While were here, can we discuss her hair? Love it!

There you have it! Those were just a few of my favourite looks. To see all the celebs check out Popsugar's fashion page here.

From my research I've discovered that black and white remains a popular choice among the celebs, and so it should they look awesome!

What was your favourite celebrity look from Comic Con? What movies are you looking forward too?

Style Obsession: Miley Cyrus

I love this woman!

Miley Cyrus has well and truly thrown away the old Hannah Montana image and has transformed into a new edgy pop star. Her new look is sexy-ghetto-punk topped with a little diva to finish.

I know I'm bored of seeing the same old pop star image again and again. I love that Miley is switching it up, it makes a refreshing change on MTV.

Unfortunately, Miley has been the target of a lot of abuse since the release of her music video for 'We Cant Stop' for her behaviour with barbie dolls...but at least she looks good while doing it.

I think it's safe to say goodbye Hannah and hello Miley!

What do you guys think of Miley's new image? Will you be buying her new album?

Ahh!

First of all, welcome to my brand new site. This will be where I'll be doing all of my blogging from now on. I took a little bit of time away from writing to decide what I really want to do but I've realised that blogging is what I should be doing so here I am.

I'll still post on Buzznet (you guys haven't got rid of me yet) but the majority of my content will be here.

My new plan is to regularly update this blog with fresh and interesting content that I hope everyone will enjoy reading. I also plan to explore new areas of blogging such as tutorials and vlogging...all to come.

So...yeah I hope you enjoy your time here and leave me lots and lots of comments. Thanks guys :)

Rolling Stone Boston Bomber Cover

I try to stay away from controversial topics but this story seriously worries me.

Rolling Stone magazine unvailed their latest cover featuring Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Tsarnaev who recently pled Not Guilty to 30 charges in relation to the Boston Marathon Bombing is seen casually on the cover in contrast to a mugshot causing many to refer to him as a "hot rocker."

Harriet Alexander of The Telegraph shared her frustration with her readers saying,

"But under the magazine's famous masthead, with his tousled hair and unflinching gaze at the camera, the soft-focus cover shot of the 19-year-old portrays him more like a rock star than an alleged terrorist"

The mayor of Boston Thomas Menino also commented saying the publication's cover "rewards a terrorist with celebrity treatment".

Of course Rolling Stone have commented on their actions explaining that the cover falls into the journalism guidelines.

"Our hearts go out to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, and our thoughts are always with them and their families. The cover story we are publishing this week falls within the traditions of journalism and Rolling Stone’s long-standing commitment to serious and thoughtful coverage of the most important political and cultural issues of our day. The fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is young, and in the same age group as many of our readers, makes it all the more important for us to examine the complexities of this issue and gain a more complete understanding of how a tragedy like this happens. –THE EDITORS"

The cover has sparked controversy with many angry Rolling Stone subscribers taking to Twitter and Facebook to announce that they will be cancelling their subscription to the magazine.

What do you guys think of the cover? Let me know in the comments section below

Product Review: Percy Cute Clothing

It's not every day when I get sent amazing clothes, so this must have been my lucky week!

I opened the mail to discover I had been sent a brand new t-shirt from Percy Cute Clothing. I have been following the company on Twitter for a while so I was really excited to receive some of their designs to review.

When I put on the t-shirt for the first time I was really impressed with the fit and the quality of the material. It's a high quality shirt for the low price of £21. Something I really loved was the ready-made, roll up sleeves for the fashion conscious among us.

Moving on to the design, the 'Origins' tee displays the company logo in a dramatic fashion across the chest in a bold red font. The style reminds me a lot of the fashion house Levi's (one of my favourite brands) which makes me love this t-shirt a lot.

I really like scripted t-shirts as they can be worn with practically anything and can easily become the statement piece of any outfit.

All designs are by Karl Unwin and only 25 of each design are produced, so you need to snatch one up while you can!

All in all, I am super impressed with the my new t-shirt. Thanks Percy Cute!!
