Lets talk about ARK!

Hey guys, so today I'm going to talk about a really cool store called Ark. This store has a unique mix of both well known brands such as Superdry and Religion Clothing as well as pieces from their own label. Ark now has 10 stores across the UK and lucky for me one in Sheffield where I live!

Their new range of sweaters, jumpers and jackets are really stunning and perfect for the colder months that are fast approaching. So today I thought I'd pick a couple of my favourite pieces from ARK's latest collection, who knows you might see some great Christmas pressies! Ok lets go!

DIY Skeleton Sweatshirt

Hey guys! So today I am doing something completely different to any post that I've done before, a D.I.Y tutorial. I love to read tutorials but I have never had the confidence to do one myself. This said, I'm trying something very simple that is perfect for Halloween, a skeleton sweatshirt.

Outfit Of The Day: Arkham Origins Free T-Shirt

Today has just been the best day ever omfg! This wasn't even my planned outfit today, this is what has made today so amazing!

So I'll start my story from the beginning. I decided to put my free day to good use by heading to the shops and buying the new Batman game, Arkham Origins, that I have been waiting to come out for what seemed like an eternity.

For those who don't already know, Arkham Origins is the third game of the Batman Arkham series. I have played the other two games so much that the disks are practically worn away. Obsessed is a very big understatement in this situation.

Anyway, I headed into HMV, picked up a copy of the game and headed to the desk. This was where a bright light illuminated the store as the assistant said;

"You get a free t-shirt with this game, which size would you like?"

Best news ever! Like ever! HMV I love you!

The shirt has the brand new game logo on the front. It incorporates Batman in the center of the design and then other enemy characters around either side which together outlines the Batman logo. My photos don't really do the design justice, but trust me it looks amazing. On the back is another version of the logo and the release date (which is today). This shirt reminds me of a band t-shirt you'd buy at a concert, which makes me love it even more!

Now if I don't blog for a while it's not because I'm ill, it's because I'm playing Batman. Well someone has to save the world!

Outfit Of The Day: Topman Haul

Hey there! So today I decided to wear all my brand new clothes in one go. There's nothing better than going out in all new stuff, it makes you feel a million dollars. The problem was that all my new clothes were from the same store!

Anyway, first on the list is my brand new sweatshirt that I picked up at Topman. I spent a while walking around with this wondering whether I should buy it or put it back on the rail. My concern was that it was too loud and in your face but I finally decided to take a risk and buy it. After wearing it I know I made the right choice.

What I really like about the shirt, apart from the unique lines and mesh effect, is that the design on the sleeves is made of polyester which gives the shirt an extra texture. It appears more expensive than it actually is because it feels and looks like someone has spent a lot of time and effort designing it. At only £15 in the sale, this was a steal.

Moving down to my trousers. I picked these up assuming that they were jeans, but how wrong I was! They are actually bleach wash joggers made from 100% cotton. They are so comfy to wear and such an attractive colour. I seriously love wearing these when I go out. These were also £15 in the Topman sale. Seriously, if you haven't checked out their sale do it now. Yes now.

I think we have all learned that I love Topman, but I couldn't wear an outfit where everything was from the same store. So I paired my outfit with my Levi canvas shoes. I think it all worked really well together.

Outfit Of The Day: A Spot Of Leopard

Hello everybody! So I realise that this is the first post I've done in about two weeks, sorry. I only blog as a part time job and that alone doesn't pay the bills unfortunately. My other job needed me to work ridiculous hours for the last fortnight. So there's my excuse.

Today I decided to wear a casual outfit as I needed to run a few errands during the day. Lets go top to bottom. I wore an over-sized, wooly beanie as it is starting to get a lot colder. I bought this last year from River Island and I wear it a lot in the year especially on bad hair days. I never wear beanies to cover the whole head, pull it back and push the hair up at the front and BOOM.

Moving down, my sweatshirt is from Topman. I bought this little treasure in a quick shopping dash earlier this week. I picked it up in a sale for £7! What drew me to it was the leopard design pocket on the left side of the chest. The design starts yellow at the top and slowly blends into a cobalt blue. Plus, the pocket is square which I have never seen before, so I had to have it. I also bought a few more bits so stay tuned to see them in the week!

I coupled the sweatshirt with some baggy jeans from ASOS. As the sweatshirt was quite fitted I decided to go baggier on the lower half of the body. I think it really worked.

I hope you've all had a great week. What will you be wearing for the weekend?

My New Fred Perry Bag

Hey guys. Today I decided to blog about my best friend, my new bag! I bought this bag around 2 months ago, so it's not brand new but it is the most recent bag purchase. You know what I mean.

I wanted to buy this bag for a very long time but could never afford it's £50 price tag and so I always walked past it when I went shopping. It was a very sad time in my life.

However, as you can see by the photos, this story had a happy ending and I managed to buy the bag. I was sent an offer through Paypal offering a 30% discount from anything at Urban Outfitters. This made my dream bag only £35 which was a much more affordable price! I had never heard of Paypal offers before so I recommend you keep a look out for them.

So the bag is made by Fred Perry which is one of my all-time favourite clothing designers. It is a very sleek and classy design incorporating a black leather look with white and cream details. It's cylindrical design makes this bag stand out from the crowd while being super practical as is can be carried over the shoulder or by the smaller handles as I am beautifully demonstrating.

I do not exaggerate when I say that I use this bag every single day at work and for traveling from place to place. The classic barrel bag is big enough to carry all the essentials without being uncomfortable to carry or more importantly unstylish.

The only issue I have with this bag is that the outside lining is made of PVC, and for the massive price tag I would prefer a more durable material.

All in all, this is one of my favourite purchases I made this year because it's fashionable and practical. I always receive positive comments when I'm seen with it which makes you feel so much better.

Outfit Of The Day: Sober Is Sexy

Hello October! Is it me or is this year just flying by?! Anyway, I'm back today to do the first Outfit Of The Day of the month. Try saying that fast!

So this is technically my outfit of yesterday because my internet was crashing last night so I couldn't upload anything. Which actually worked out really well because all it has done today is rain. I mixed a lot of different brands in my look so I'll break it down from top to bottom.

If you recognise my Snapback then you will have been following my blog from the very beginning because this was in my very first blog post! It's by Beauty Forever the fashion line by one of my idols Jeffree Star. Mine is the first edition of the Killin' It Snapback and it's one of my favourite hats because of the floral design under the peak.

Next is the staple piece of the look my t-shirt from Sober is Sexy. I must have been inspired by internet celebrities because this is from Hanna Beth's collection. This shirt is a limited edition 4th of July variation of the original logo tee. It was a pair of lips with an American flag design...how could I not buy this?!

My denim jacket has also made an appearance in a previous blog but still remain one of my must have pieces. It's made by Levi and I bought it from a vintage store for £20, I know! Simply roll up the sleeves to style it up for the streets.

Lastly, the joggers are from H&M and have a speckled design running throughout. They are a simple pair of jog pants but remain a steal as I only paid around £12. I think they work really well with the look.

Lastly, I wore my tartan designed BK high tops. If you follow me on Twitter (which you should) you will know that I went on the hunt for some new shoes. They're coming in the post soon so stay tuned!

Off topic, did you all see Britney's new video for Work B**ch?! OBSESSED!

Outfit Of The Day: Paradise Skull

Hi everyone! I'm just going to write a very short blog today to let you know about my most recent bargain purchase and my revelation.

Now, I'm usually very against shopping at Primark. It's not a snobbery thing, I'm just not a fan of their designs when I can get the originals from Topman or River Island. Well it's true.

However, there have been a few occasions where Primark has surprised me and this was one of them. I looked through all the new stock and saw nothing. I looked through the older stuff, nothing. Why I went to the sale rail I do not know, but it was a good idea!

Hidden in the middle of the rail I found this grey, over-sized sweatshirt with a skull design on the front. I have mentioned my love of skulls on a number of occasions so you can imagine my excitement. The pink skull is designed with palm trees and anchors, I'm not sure why but I like it. It's very unique and reminds me of summer.

I styled it with some red, carrot jeans. Now I have issues with coloured jeans but that story is for another time. These are the only pair I own and I hardly ever wear them. However, I thought that they worked well with the skull and the jeans being a similar colour.

It just shows that you can find great clothes in places that you don't usually shop and you shouldn't stick to just one store.

Do you guys like skulls in fashion? Let me know in the comments!

Outfit Of The Day: Varsity

Today totally confused me, well the weather did at least. I wasn't sure if it was hot, cold, windy or going to rain! Nevertheless, I set my camera up and took some photos like a champion!

Let's rewind to about a year ago varsity jackets were immensely popular, literally everyone had one. All the stores had similar designs with the the same colour schemes. When I started looking around the stores to buy one I wanted something to stand out from the average design.

After failing to find anything amazingly unique in stores I moved my search online. It was there that I found what I wanted. At the top of the Google image search was Rihanna in the most gorgeous varsity jacket I had ever seen. The body was a black, checkered pattern and the sleeves were black leather. I was in love!

Why didn't I buy that jacket you ask? Because it was a A.P.C x Carhartt Schopenhauer jacket priced at $530. Safe to say that this was way out of my budget.

I know that Rihanna wears the best clothes but I was still gutted about the price. Still determined, I kept online and searched for a cheaper alternative. Now I don't know about you, but I think my Voi jacket is the perfect alternative to the Schopenhauer piece.

Like I mentioned, my jacket is by Voi and I bought it online for around £35. Yes £35, I honestly don't know how I do it. I added it to the basket and checked out in less than 20 seconds.

As you can see with my jacket, the body is a speckled grey design and the sleeves are faux leather. The only issue I have is the inside lining. I really wish it wasn't bright red checked, I think it cheapens the look. However, I still love it and I always wear it during the colder months. I bought my jacket a size bigger so I could achieve an oversized look that is perfect in the winter.

Today I styled my jacket with one (of many) of my Boy London tees. I always like to wear a bright t-shirt under dark jackets make the shirt pop!

I hope you all enjoyed today's story! What do you guys think of today's look?

Outfit Of The Day: Chanhell

Today I will introduce you to a t-shirt I bought probably over a year ago. It still remains one of my favourites and I'm going to tell you why.

To start, it's made by Empty Casket a store that I stumbled across on Tumblr. I saw that they were advertising this very shirt and I just had to get it!

I really love the Chanel symbol with the Empty Casket logo embedded into the centre. Moving down it says 'Chanhell' in bold print before 'no 666' (a reference to Chanel No. 5) and then three inverted crosses at the bottom. Awesome! I think all 3 elements really work great together and shows that the company has actually thought about the design rather just sticking a massive Chanel logo on the shirt like many companies.

When I bought this shirt it was priced at around £12 which I thought was a great price as most independent companies have higher prices than retail stores. Just to note, the shirt was limited edition so unless they bring it back it will be pretty hard to get hold of.

I styled my shirt with some simple jeans from ASOS that I rolled at the bottom to style them with my BK high-tops that you've seen lots.

I really suggest popping over to Empty Casket's site and checking out their stuff.

(Disclaimer: Empty Casket did not sponsor me for this post, all opinions are my own)
